About the role
A cleared government contractor is looking for an experienced Technical Writer to support a defense program at Fort Meade. This is an onsite, full-time position for a current opening.
In this role, you will update existing operations documents and develop new acquisition documentation to support program needs. The work requires someone who can quickly learn and apply customer-specific terminology, write and edit clearly, and operate independently with minimal oversight. You'll be contributing to documentation that supports programs of significant scope, giving you visibility into high-impact acquisition activities.
This is a strong fit for a writer with an acquisition background who is comfortable taking ownership of deliverables and working directly with program stakeholders to ensure documentation accurately reflects evolving requirements and processes. Clear, precise writing and the ability to manage your own workload are essential to success in this role.
